Spring Is Coming!

We have had a very mild winter and I know we are glad for that…at least to a degree. Well, Spring is coming and we are excited about how God will continue to use your Love INC to help those in need. We have some changes to announce as we usher in spring.First, we have a new Volunteer Coordinator who many of you already know, Jim Myers. When Jim retired several years ago he became a phone volunteer here at Love INC. Then, he became a part-time assistant to me as well as leading the “Right Things Right” Ministry. That ministry has been a great success at helping churches to understand the IRS guidelines and stay current with 501(c)3 regulations. He also taught Love INC budget classes at churches and the Lufkin Dream Center.

When the Volunteer Coordinator desk opened it was a natural move for Jim to fill that position. Jim and I have been Prayer Partners for over 12 years and he is a great fit for the Volunteer Coordinator job.

Second, there are some additions to the website. You can now make ON-LINE DONATIONS at          www.loveincangelinacounty.org

Go to “Get Involved” then “Donate”.

We have added a ‘banner spot’ that will show you something that just happened to help meet a need. You can see almost real time how a need has been met. I encourage you to go to the website at least once a day to see what is going on here at your Love INC.

As you can see, this place is jumping with excitement.
